Terms of Use

PreflightAI provides automated aviation explanations, briefing summaries and Pilot Assistant responses. The service and its outputs are informational and supportive only. They have no operational authority. Official sources, company or operator material, dispatch documentation, approved procedures and professional judgement remain necessary.

Outputs may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check the current controlled source before relying on an answer, especially for live conditions, limitations, performance, procedures, MEL/CDL items or regulatory requirements.

You must own each excerpt you submit or be authorised to submit it. Submit only the selected, relevant pages or image excerpts needed for your question, not whole manuals.

Do not submit material you are not authorised to share, including unauthorised confidential, personal, restricted or security-sensitive material. Redact unnecessary names, identifiers and other personal data before uploading.

You remain responsible for deciding whether you may submit the material. PreflightAI does not provide copyright, confidentiality, data-protection or other legal clearance for a submission.

You grant PreflightAI only the narrow, temporary permission needed to copy, transmit and process a selected excerpt to provide the response you requested. That permission is limited by the retention and provider processing described in the Privacy Policy.

No ownership in an excerpt transfers to PreflightAI. This permission does not remove rights or remedies that a third party or PreflightAI may have under applicable law.

Do not use the service to facilitate harm, bypass access controls, expose secrets or submit malicious files. Technical limits, access controls and fair-use limits may be applied to protect users and keep the service available.

The service may change, pause or stop. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or responsibility where applicable law does not allow that result.

For a copyright or confidentiality notice and removal request, email info@preflight.bot. Include enough information to identify the material and explain your connection to the relevant right so the request can be assessed.
